Customer ServiceI went to Barnes & Noble today. I'm looking for a copy of Deadeye Dick to replace the one I lost in the rest area bathroom on the way to Iowa City. Barnes and Noble didn't have it.Customer Service
Instead I picked up Bluebeard - a different book by Vonnegut - and went over to the checkout because there were no customers, and the help counter was swamped. I asked if the clerk could find me a book. She said that I'd have to go the help counter, and went into length explaining why the six computers at the checkout counter can't be spared in book-finding.
